心理學實驗在心理學科的發展進程中具有不可替代的作用。而心理學研究報告(或論文)是心理學研究成果最重要的表達形式之一。心理學研究報告的撰寫既涉及與研究課題的理論背景、研究假設等相關的科學知識，又涉及與實驗設計、統計相關的實驗結構知識和與心理學科技論文寫作規范相關的知識。這種論文撰寫能力的形成和提升尚需要一個不斷訓練、不斷實踐的過程。就我國高等院校的心理學專業目前所開設的諸如：普通心理學、認知心理學、實驗心理學、心理統計等專業基礎課程而言，似無法獨立完成對學生的這種綜合訓練，因此有必要開設相應的課程或專題。

彼得·哈里斯是英國謝菲爾德大學心理系的講師，他曾在薩塞克斯大學、赫特福德大學和諾丁漢大學工作過，也曾在阿姆斯特丹大學和牛津大學做過訪問學者。他主要的研究方向是社會和健康心理學。

還不錯，只是作者是英國的，感覺跟美式英語還是有點不同
替同學買的書，由於是全英文的，所以覺得這個一方面對自己的英語水平是一個挑戰，另一方面也可以學習到原版書籍的內涵。
感覺語言平實，英文版，但能讀懂，對英語水平要求不是太高。

現在才看完。書不是很厚，但作為心理學專業本科的研究入門書籍算是很不錯的了。建議想學好專業的特別是想今后從事研究童鞋好好看看。。
