《什么是科學思維》是“思想者指南系列叢書”當中的一本，屬于該系列下的“大眾篇”，供廣大讀者閱讀使用。《什么是科學思維》主要通過講解科學思維的構成、標準、邏輯、方法，并以生物學、化學、科學、生態學等科學學科為例進行說明，來幫助讀者提升科學思維。
