本著作的一大特點(diǎn)即通過理論模型和實(shí)證研究相結(jié)合的方法,探討工作記憶對(duì)圖示搜索、激活、修正及擴(kuò)充等作用,從而為外語教學(xué)提供切實(shí)可行的方案及建議。本研究的創(chuàng)新性亮點(diǎn)主要體現(xiàn)于設(shè)計(jì)一系列思路新穎的教學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn),進(jìn)而實(shí)證探究工作記憶在圖式激活、圖式修正、圖式拓展等領(lǐng)域的角色,以及如何通過培訓(xùn)學(xué)生的語言圖式和內(nèi)容圖式的互動(dòng),促進(jìn)認(rèn)知結(jié)構(gòu)的科學(xué)發(fā)展。此外,本項(xiàng)目還突破了閱讀理解的局限,在圖式理論與建構(gòu)主義的基礎(chǔ)上積極探索“任務(wù)型”和“內(nèi)容型”外語教學(xué)模式,主張開展學(xué)術(shù)英語和專業(yè)教學(xué)相輔相成的教學(xué)模式,促進(jìn)高等教育走向現(xiàn)代化、國際化、高效化。
