范德 維亞納目前于英國貝爾法斯特女王大學攻讀博士學位，也是該校英語學院的一名助教。他的主要研究興趣包括語料庫語言學、英語語言、應用語言學及英語教學等；索尼婭 金吉爾于1994年獲得伯明翰大學的應用語言學博士學位，目前擔任約翰 本杰明出版公司的學術編輯，曾在文體學方面發表多篇著作；杰夫 巴恩布魯克是伯明翰大學英語語言方向的高級講師，其研究興趣主要包括語料庫語言學、詞典學等。
